Another month, another set of updates across all aspects of the product for both individual and enterprise users!
Codeium Command
We announced this capability as a prototype feature back in November, and we have made many improvements to make the in-line instructive modality state-of-the-art over the last few months. Now, we have a snappy, high-quality tool to perform in-line refactors, and Command now powers the refactoring CodeLenses on Visual Studio Code. We will have a blog post soon on some of the technical details of our iteration, and will bring this shortly to JetBrains and other IDEs.
Feature Availability
One of our theses is that every developer should get value from the tool, no matter the IDE, programming language, or source code management tool. In the last month, we added Chat to Android Studio, built local indexing and context awareness for Eclipse, and polished a lot of the Visual Studio extension. We will continue to expand the availability of our different capabilities across IDEs.
Enterprise: Improved Analytics & Compliance
All enterprise customers now have the ability to use IAM groups to view subteam analytics, rather than analytics just at the full-organization level. Note that for Enterprise SaaS, this requires SSO integration to be enabled.
Feature Polish
As always, we are always focused on delivering an exceptional user experience, even if it means small polish changes. For example, in Codeium Chat, you can now press Up/Down to edit past messages in the conversation while focused on the chat input. No longer do you have to copy-and-paste past chat messages to just make small tweaks to the prompt! We have also made lots of fixes to chat flakiness, increased the availability of mutliline autocomplete suggestions.
Content
In case you missed it, there was even more content in the month of March:
- Comparing Context Awareness and Customer-Specific Finetuning for Personalization
- Breakdown of what is in the most recent GitHub Copilot Enterprise tier
- Appearance on Infinite ML Podcast
- Review of Codeium from codeSTACKr
A little bit of everything this month, and we are excited to continue to iterate with feedback from our community!
