One of Codeium’s unique approaches to generative AI is the ability to deploy the system in a variety of ways in a variety of places. Enterprises can use the hosted SaaS solution like most other generative AI solutions. There is even a hybrid deployment where the compute plane leverages Codeium’s accelerated hardware but the persisted data plane stays within our customer’s tenant.
All of this to say - Codeium can be deployed in a lot of places equally well. So, it only made sense to collaborate with Broadcom on VMware Private AI. Unveiled at VMware Explore 2023, VMware Private AI is an architectural approach that unlocks the business gains from AI while simultaneously addressing the critical privacy and compliance needs of an organization. It brings compute capacity and AI models to where enterprise data is created, processed, and consumed—in a data center or edge site.
At this year’s show, Codeium and Broadcom are unveiling new joint efforts to significantly enhance developer productivity. By deploying Codeium on VMware Private AI Foundation with NVIDIA, enterprises can get the benefits of AI-powered developer productivity acceleration while minimizing risk in their AI strategy.
We believe that more and more companies will value data security and deployment flexibility when it comes to generative AI solutions, and we are proud to partner with Broadcom.
