How We Got Here

Fifteen months ago, Codeium released as a beta and started with zero downloads. Today, it has now been downloaded over one million times by developers across 40+ IDEs.

In the time between, we’ve worked hard to improve Codeium since it’s launch day, simultaneously increasing the size and quality of the proprietary Large Language Models (LLMs) that power our product, building intuitive and industry-leading user experiences, and personalizing suggestions to each developers’ tasks. Developers love our tools so much that we have a 5-star rating on every extension marketplace we’re offered on.

As we celebrate this new milestone, our focus shifts to the future.
