# GPT-5.6 Sol: Now even cheaper in Devin

OpenAI announced today that it is lowering GPT-5.6 Sol list prices from $5/$30 to $4/$20 per 1M input/output tokens for the next 3 months. The [70% discount we announced last week](https://devin.ai/blog/gpt-5-6-sol-promo) still applies on top of the new, lower prices, so through October 3, 2026 you pay 30% of the already-reduced $4/$20 rates in Devin Desktop and Devin CLI.

Stacked together, the two discounts bring GPT-5.6 Sol down to an effective $1.20/$6 per 1M tokens — roughly a quarter of what a typical task cost at the original list price.
