# Update on Claude Fable 5 in Devin

Claude Fable 5 is now available in Devin.

You can use Fable 5 in Devin Cloud’s Ultra agent, our smartest and most capable agent, which excels at long-horizon tasks and debugging.

Claude Fable 5 is also available in Devin Desktop and Devin CLI.

### Update — June 12, 2026

Following Anthropic’s latest announcement and the US government directive to suspend access to Claude Fable 5, we are removing access to Fable 5 in Cognition products.

All other models remain available in Devin, including Claude Opus 4.8 and GPT-5.5.

Devin Ultra mode will continue to use the most powerful available models.

Claude Fable 5 was made available in Devin across **Cloud**, **Desktop**, and **CLI** on June 9. As of June 12, access has been removed following Anthropic’s latest announcement and the US government directive.
